    Notenspiel

    • is systematic and sequential
    • is based upon criteria established for the Texas Sightreading Contest
    • provides sufficient exercises to prepare a middle school choir for sightreading contest
    • high school students can use to prepare for All-State auditions

    System Requirements (minimum)

    • Pentium 166
    • Windows 95, 98, or NT4
    • 32MB RAM
    • 10MB hard-disk free
    • CD-ROM drive
    • Sound Card with speakers*

    * Speakers will play the metronome "clicks" and should have enough power to be heard above class singing.

    Splash Screen

    SPLASH SCREEN: The first screen to appear is the "Splash Screen" which also plays a test sound. A system check of the computer's sound card is also made at this time and errors are reported to the user. All other applications must be shut down for Notenspiel to work properly.


    Main Screen

    Main Screen:    The Notenspiel main screen (here from Notenspiel Basic 1.0) contains all of the controls for the game. Complete control over the metronome, choices of Key, interval, clef, pattern selection are available here.

    Help Screen 1:  Detailed help screens display each control and explain its effect on the program.


    Help Screen 2

    Help Screen 2:   The help screens display the actual controls (but the controls don't change the program) from the main screen.
